About

Great technology is made by workers. It’s ruined by quarterly earnings calls.

System Hyperlink is for people who get that.

I’m Xavi, a developer, stubborn tech optimist, and the person in my friend group who gets questions about which iPhone to buy, why their app keeps crashing, and whether there’s an AI bubble (there is).

That tension is what this publication is about.

What You’ll Find Here

Every week, I publish a newsletter and short podcast covering the 4–5 things that caught my attention—Apple news, PKM and knowledge work, geek culture, and the corners of the independent web worth knowing about. Throughout the week, I post link commentary on the things I’m reading, watching, and thinking through.

The Point of View

I’m not here to dunk on Apple. I’m also not here to defend them. I don’t think CEOs define companies as much as the workers who actually make the things. I’m here because technology deserves honest coverage—and honest coverage means talking about how the profit motive inevitably makes (or breaks) the technology we use.

The products are great. But they could be better. That’s the whole idea.
